Associate Andrew Palmer
Andrew Palmer is a 2013 graduate of Augusta State University and a 2017 graduate of Georgia State College of Law.
Mr. Palmer has the skill and knowledge to take on complex civil and criminal cases. As a former prosecutor, he handled criminal cases from simple DUI’s and drug possession all the way to assault, armed robbery, trafficking, and murder. Mr. Palmer also has experience in complex civil issues. Prior to becoming a prosecutor, he interned with the Cochran Firm, Atlanta where he assisted in civil rights cases, premises liability, and slip-and-fall cases. He has amassed hundreds of hours in courtroom experience, from pre-trial hearings to bench trials, and jury trials. Mr. Palmer will use this experience to fight for his client’s rights.
Mr. Palmer has dedicated his career to fighting for the rights of the average person. During law school he challenged the IRS by contesting the federal tax bills of low-income Georgians. He successfully argued before the United States Tax Court, removed federal tax liens, and saved his clients thousands of dollars. For these efforts he received the Atlanta Bar Foundation’s Senator Paul D. Coverdell Tax Clinic award and the Trammell Foundation Scholarship. During law school he also served as an articles editor for the Georgia State Law Review.
Mr. Palmer believes in community empowerment. He currently serves on the advisory board of the Burke County Family YMCA, and has previously served on the advisory boards of My Brother’s Keeper – Augusta, and the Charles Henry Terrell Academy. He also tutors kids at the MACH Academy – Augusta, and is a member of the Burke County Law Library Board of Trustees. He is a native of Burke County, Georgia where he currently resides. In his leisure time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with his family.

Andrew Palmer is an attorney licensed to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Georgia. He earned a Juris Doctorate from Georgia State College of Law in 2017. Prior to law school, Mr. Palmer attended Augusta University where he graduated with a dual degree Magna Cum Laude, in 2013. He currently serves as an Associate Attorney.
